Simple Summertime Serenades

I upcycled this tiny piano a few years ago...thinking that if I ever had grandkids, they could play it when they came to my house to visit.  💕

My granddaughter, Kinsley, played it last weekend, and it brought me so much joy to watch her tiny, little fingers plink-plink-plunk-plunk away on the miniature keys!

Oh, the simple joy of music!🎵

This is the 2nd mini-piano I've upcycled.  The first one sold to a grandma who bought it for her grandchildren.  I originally thought I'd sell this one too - but now I'm kind of attached to it, and I think I'll hang on to it.  The first one was painted in a soft, ballet pink, with gentle floral accents.  But this one is bolder and brighter - jewel tones and a bit of bling, and giant insects...just for fun!

Max was very intrigued...and asked if she knew how to play "Memory" from the Broadway musical,"Cats." 😻
